DOW Chemicals required a pigging line to a bulk loading station for the transfer of different special chemical blends from 3 blenders to the bulk loading station.
The project was a success, achieving the minimum amount of cross contamination with efficient recovery, good cleaning and easier pig changing.
The new system required much less maintenance, and less effluent/ ETP load, all resulting in higher profit and a reduced carbon footprint.
